Hydraulic installation tools are designed to provide the installer with a greater ease of installation as well as more flexible installations. Hydraulic tools operate at between 6-15 tons output pressure – making them a perfect choice for installing larger connectors. Designed to work in conjunction with BURNDY® connectors, hydraulic tools provide both reliability and inspectability that is unsurpassed. Offered in both self contained as well as remote powered heads, hydraulic tools provide the installer the ability to install connectors ranging from #8 wire up to as large as 2500 kcmil conductors.

Like mechanical and battery actuated tools, hydraulic tools are available in either "dieless" (no dies required) or die versions depending on your choice of tool.
